Kruja Castle and Old Bazaar

We meet at the start point in Tirana or Durres and head towards Kruja. Kruja is historic city located north of the capital, Tirana. It is renowned for its cultural and historical significance, particularly as the hometown of the Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg. We will visit the castle, a well-preserved castle atop of a hill and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Within the castle, you'll find the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to the life and legacy of the national hero. Later we will visit the Old Bazaar, a vibrant market where you can shop for traditional Albanian handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products. It is a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture. You can also visit the Ethnographic Museum, with exhibits of traditional clothing, tools, and artifacts from different regions of the country. Kruja is a place of historical importance, a picturesque town with stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere. We return to the start point and say goodbye.
