Arrival in Tirana International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and after that we take a city tour of the major sites of Tirana. Overnight in Tirana.
After breakfast we depart to Berat, the pride if Albanian antiquity and architecture. The UNESCO city forms a wonderful combination of eastern and western cultures, costumes and traditions. First we visit the Citadel. Inside the walls you can visit ruined mosques and several medieval Orthodox churches, all intact and with restored frescoes and icons. Onufri National Museum is located in the inner part of "Saint Mary Church" in Castle of Berat. Overnight in Berat.
After breakfast we leave Albania and enter another Balkan country - North Macedonia. We spend the day by the shores of lake Ohrid. Ohrid's major attractions are all located within a remarkably concentrated walkable area, among and above the narrow streets of the Old Town. We visit the old churches, the Amphitheatre and enjoy a boat ride in the lake. Overnight in Ohrid.
After breakfast we depart to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia for a tour of the main sites. Skopje is the birth town of Mother Teresa and many parts reflect her history. Visit the old Turkish bazaar, Mahmut Pasha Hammam, the memorial house of Mother Teresa, stone bridge and the Macedonia Plaza. Overnight in Skopje.
After breakfast we drive to visit Prizren, throughout the beautiful Sharri Mountains. Prizren is a true Open Air Museum, one of the most beautiful towns of Kosovo. Take a short tour of the old town. Afterwards we reach the Monastery of Decan, part of UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must for anyone visiting Kosovo. Guided tour of the monastery and transfer to Peja for overnight.
After breakfast, we depart for a long drive through the magnificent natural beauty of the North-West Kosovo and Montenegro to reach Kolasin. It is Montenegro's most famous ski resort. Transfer to Podgorica for overnight.
Today we visit Budva. Budva is rich in historic monuments. Its coast is among the most beautiful coasts in the world. After visiting Budva, we drive to visit the Old City of Kotor. Kotor is an UNESCO listed World Natural and Historical Heritage Site. Return to Podgorica for overnight.
After breakfast, free time to explore the capital before the transfer to the airport for the return flight.
